Table feel

Seven has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently pay attention to and react to each other's strategies and turns. However, there is a lower emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Seven has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and good scalability. While it may take some time to learn, the game offers a fresh and engaging experience each time it is played.

Luck profile

Seven has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

Seven is a set collecting game based on 7 sets of 7 cards, 17 special cards, and 4 Jokers. Seven is turn-based and everybody starts with 10 cards each at the beginning. The rest of the cards are placed face-down in a pile on the table and every player must pick up a card at the end of their turn. The objective is simply to collect as many of the seven sets as you can. You can collect sets by asking other players for cards during your turn. There are 17 special cards (marked with gold and black stars) and 14 of them have good functions that can give you an advantage in the game. The other 3 are negative and it's simply bad luck if you encounter one. The Jokers enable you to lie once when another player asks you for a card. Source: the publisher
