Schlafmütze has a moderate level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to frequently pay attention to and react to each other's actions. However, there is not much emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Schlafmütze has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and good scalability. While it may not be the easiest game to learn, it offers a rewarding and fresh experience each time it is played.

Luck profile

Schlafmütze has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

Schlafmütze is a card game of set collection, sly hand movements, and social observation for 3-7 players ages 5 and up. Players try to collect 4 matches of a drowsy character. The first player to do so subtly places the set down on the table in front of him. The other players, noticing this, place their own cards, matching or not, on the table. The last person with cards left in hand is the sleepyhead and must take the "sleeping goblin" token. Source: user summary
