Table feel

Rorschach has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to frequently pay attention to and react to each other's strategies and turns. However, the game does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

Rorschach has a high variability gameboard, good potential for expansions, deep strategic depth, moderate player interaction, and decent scalability. It is moderately easy to learn. Overall, it offers a highly replayable experience.

Luck profile

Rorschach has a moderate level of luck involved in the game. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. While there is some room for players to influence or mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions, luck still plays a significant role. The game has a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with the outcome being determined by both player decisions and luck.

Overview

Rorschach, named after the Swiss psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach, uses some of his famous inkblot images (and many new ones) to put two teams to the test. The teams earn points by correctly guessing how their members paired randomly selected words with these inkblot images. Reading the other players and learning their associations is the key to success, but the real fascination lies in seeing how differently these images can be perceived — and in discussing and explaining the pairings afterwards. —description from the publisher
