In Pirate Tales you take on the role of a pirate captain. You plan adventures in the seven seas and try to pass them with the luck of your dice. Upgrade your ship and improve your dice hand to scam as many doubloons and diamonds as possible. Play cards to get useful additional actions or the protection of the sea, so that you can return home safely. But beware of the Kraken and all the other dangers on the high seas. If it is a fellow player's turn, make yourself comfortable in the tavern and bid with the other captains on the success or failure of the active player. Will you emerge from the game as the most glorious and richest captain, or will the Kraken be pleased? —description from the publisher
