Minos: Dawn of the Bronze Age is a heavy Eurogame about leading a Minoan clan toward the island’s highest title. Each round begins with dice drafting and programming: low values secure stronger action spaces, while high values advance the matching civilization tracks. Later, dice resolve from highest to lowest, turning the plan into trade, construction, expansion, influence, and decree actions. Cards create a tableau of immediate effects and triggered rewards, so one carefully placed die can launch a long sequence. Cities, towers, farms, merchants, and armies establish a physical presence across Crete; trade routes and barbarian pressure make that map matter beyond area scoring. Two interim progress scorings reward balanced development before the final reckoning. A dedicated solo opponent is included. Minos is demanding but coherent, with four central actions supporting a wide, deeply interconnected decision space.
