Table feel

Kart Sur Glace has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently pay attention to and react to each other's actions. However, there is a lower emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Kart Sur Glace has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, expansions available, strategic depth, scalability, and moderate easiness to learn. The game offers different experiences each time it is played, with the potential for new tactics and strategies to be discovered. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, further enhancing the replay value. The game adapts well to different player counts without compromising its appeal or balance. While it may take some time to learn, the depth it offers makes it worth the investment.

Luck profile

Kart Sur Glace has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have some ability to mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game relies on a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with neither element dominating the outcome.

Overview

Kart sur Glace is a finger-flicking race game inspired by Micromachines and Mario Kart. The speedway is created by placing objects on the table: plates, forks, glasses, books, other games, cats, etc. Players each simultaneously choose a card that gives them action points. Each action allows you to make: • one finger-flick at the rear of your car, or • one reorientation of your car, or • the playing of one bonus card: missile, flask of oil, dynamite, etc. Each time you pass through a checkpoint, you draw a bonus card. The goal, of course, is to be the first to cross the finish line.
