Table feel

Hang on Harvey! has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players need to frequently pay attention to and react to other players' actions. However, the game does not emphasize cooperation as much.

Replay value

Hang on Harvey! has a high variability gameboard, offering different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing replay value. The game also provides deep strategic possibilities and allows players to improve their strategy over time. The player interaction score is average, and the game scales well with different numbers of players. While it may take some time to learn, the game offers a good balance between easiness and depth. Overall, Hang on Harvey! has a solid replayability score of 7.7.

Luck profile

Hang on Harvey! has a moderate level of luck influence. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. While there is some room for players to influence or mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions, luck still plays a significant role. The game has a balanced mix of luck and strategy, with the outcome being determined by both player decisions and random elements.

Overview

The object of the game is to be the first player to get any part of his Harvey to hang below the bottom edge of the playing field. Players simultaneously race each other in lowering their Harvey by removing one peg from the playing field and placing it somewhere below Harvey so that when you remove another peg Harvey will fall onto your other remaining pegs. If your Harvey falls all the way to the bottom, then you have to start again from the top. Beginners play with 4 pegs, while advanced players use 3.
