Replay value

Gotown has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and good scalability. The game offers fresh experiences each time it is played and allows players to improve their strategies over time. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing the replay value. The game also adapts well to different player counts without compromising its appeal or balance. While it may not be the easiest game to learn, it offers enough depth to keep players engaged.

Luck profile

Gotown has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have some ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is a balanced mix of luck and strategy.

Overview

GoTown is a card game of real-estate ego that invites a bit of (un)friendly competition. Each player tries to build a five-story tower first. Floors are made of two floor cards placed side-by-side. It's totally okay to steal or destroy other player's stories, among other special actions. So protect your construction with a guard dog, play the donut food truck to send everyone on a break, and watch out! You are not the only one reaching for the sky...
