Fate: Defenders of Grimheim is a cooperative tower-defense adventure inspired by Norse mythology. One to four heroes protect a village while monsters emerge from four realms, advance along branching paths, and attack locations or defenders according to their own dice and abilities. On a turn, a hero spends action points to move, focus, attack, recover, gain experience, and use equipment; then the monster phase activates every threat. Experience unlocks stronger abilities, defeated enemies provide gear, and village locations offer tactical benefits worth defending. Variable heroes, legends, events, and difficulty settings keep the pressure changing, while the self-contained scenarios deliver a full arc in roughly thirty to 120 minutes.
