A mysterious island. Four mighty stone statues. The looming volcano. Mysterious relics - scattered all over the island. And right in the middle of it all, the players in the role of brave adventurers. They are trying to save the island from the volcanic eruption. But do all players have an interest in saving the island? A breathtaking race against time begins. This board game is supported by sophisticated electronics with sound and display. Each move requires a new decision, which is activated by touching an action space and your own playing figure. Die Insel is a board game using the same technology as Knizia's electronic game, King Arthur. It is a cooperative adventure game that features competitive elements and takes place on an island with a volcano.
