Deductio has a moderate level of randomness impact, with random elements having a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate the effects of randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.
Your goal is to deduce your opponents' Secret Numbers before they figure out yours. Be strategic about the clues you provide to other players and make the most of the information you gather. At the beginning of the game, each player is assigned a Secret Number card from 1 to 20, which the other players must attempt to guess. On your turn, you must select one of the three face-up Clue cards that truthfully describe your Secret Number. Each Clue provided allows other players to gradually narrow down their guesses. Alternatively, instead of offering Clues about your Secret Number, you have the option to guess another player's Secret Number. But be cautious! An incorrect guess will result in you taking two Clue cards that truthfully describe your Secret Number. However, a correct guess earns you a point and brings you one step closer to victory!
