Overview

Blood Bowl - a cross between American football, rugby and all out war. The first edition of Blood Bowl comes complete with 115 cardboard figures to represent different teams including humans, dwarfs, ogres, orcs, dark elves, trolls and troglodytes, to get you straight in the game, with optional metal Citadel Miniatures being released separately. The rules are a refactored version of the Warhammer system, putting the core combat and psychology rules of Warhammer Fantasy Battle Rules (Second Edition) and the later Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader systems onto a gridded football pitch adding kicking, throwing, alongside injury, team composition and tournament rules, making it a combination of a knockabout skirmish battle game and sports simulation. Expanded by: White Dwarf 86 - Blood Bowl: Skaven Team White Dwarf 88 - Pass Interference : Judge Dredd White Dwarf 94 - Blood Bowl, Bloody Blood Bowl : Chainsaws and Pit-Traps Blood Bowl: Death Zone
