Replay value

Alderquest offers a high level of variability with its gameboard, allowing for different experiences each time it is played. The presence of expansions adds new content and gameplay elements, enhancing the replay value. The game also provides deep strategic possibilities and room for players to improve their tactics and strategies. The player interaction score is moderate, and the game scales well with different numbers of players. While it may take some time to learn, the easiness to learn score is within an acceptable range. Overall, Alderquest has a strong replayability score of 8.0.

Luck profile

Alderquest has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

High councils of Aleron have initiated a four-seasons tournament with an urgent summons to the many houses of the realm. Guilds local to the Great Tree Aiyana have convened at her watershed to take part in the first contest, as autumn slowly expires. Rival guilds of animal heroes and minions will square off in a competition that blends area control, tile placement, hidden information, bluffing, and traditional match-3. The team that gathers the most acorns before the start of winter is the contest's victor.
